I found this "Aqua Duck" on Zulily.com. I love it! AJ can actually reach the faucet without me having to hold him up which is becoming more and more difficult being 8 months pregnant. He likes it, Noah likes, and Jake even said he wants one for his sink haha!

I decided to use my king comforter to re-do a glider in Kennadys room. I'm just too nervous to start. So I used the same comforter to made a crib skirt and it turned out good. Now I'm ready to start on that glider.

Our back yard is pretty barren except for our grass and 3 maple trees. Not to mention the fabulous view of the neighbors rv and junk next door which will be blocked out soon by our fence but for the time being my garden is like a little patch of heaven.... i just hope everything grows!!!

So on New Years eve AJ started walking. He isn't standing up by himself and taking off but it'll happen soon. And it seems like since he turned 1 him and Noah have been playing alot more together which is awesome. Yesterday, AJ was copying everything Noah would do.

We had AJ's bday party on Saturday to try to accomodate everyone's busy schedules with Christmas and everything! He made out like a bandit with Christmas and Bday right in a row! Thank you all for coming and laughing at him eat his cake! That was the highlight of the night.

Aj can open his mouth when he is told to, he'll point to his nose, and touch his head. When you tell him to say Hello he puts his hand by his ear like he's talking on a phone. He babbles all the time, he does the signs for more and please. he isn't walking alone yet but he loves to cruise around the furniture and holding on to mama's hand! He is awesome!

I know I know it's been 2months since my last blog entry! I'm sorry!!!! I don't have any pics today but a lot has changed since my last entry!!!
NOAH
Started Pre K in August and is in the same class as his best friednd JT.
Started his first season of soccer with his daddy as his coach.
Turned 5 in September and got a dirt bike (talk about scared!!!)
His teacher says that he is above average for his age. He is excelling in patterns, math, and should be reading by the end of the school year.
AND Jake tried to give him a haircut to save money... well needless to say it didn't turn out well. He had to shave his head. lol but Noah kept telling Jake that he loves looking like his daddy.

9 1/2 months
Got two more teeth in.
I started him on goats milk and it has helpped so much with his spitting up.
Is such a mama's boy.
Is pulling himself up on everything and anything!!! (when he's in the bathtub he'll do it too and its soooo scary!)
Sleeps through the night (although the past two weeks his sleep has been sparatic, but i think he's trying to get 2 more teeth in)
Loves babies and anytime he sees one he trys to kiss it and he says bebebebebe! so cute!
Loves his rubber Duckie at bath time (I'll say, "where's your duck?" and he'll grab it and give it a kiss.

I love my boys with all my heart they keep me going and they make me so happy. Noah says the funniest things and he just knows when i need a hug.

last night was AWEFUL! AJ is usually whiney (spelling?) at bedtime but last night was a nightmare! he went to sleep at 7:00 and woke up at 7:30. I tried to let him cry himself back to sleep. after 15 minutes he started screaming and hyperventilating so jake went in his room and picked him up, he still cried! 5 more minutes of jake holding him and he still was crying so i tried holding him and he calmed down. i got him back to sleep about 8:00, laid him in his crib and walked out of the room and he started screaming again! i let it go for about 5 minutes and went back in there and picked him up, then nothing that i did helped him! nothing!!!! i tried walking with him, i tried rocking him, sitting with him, playing with him, laying down with him. NOTHING WORKED! finally, i called my mom crying! and he calmed down! i think he liked to see me flusterd! meanie! while i was bawling on the phone to my mom he started rolling around on my bed. when i got off of the phone, he pulled himself over to me, laid his head on my stomach and i started rubbing his back. within 2 minutes if that he was out. he was so tired and asleep that i picked him up, laid him on my chest, and he didn't wake up. HE MADE MY MIND UP FOR ME THOUGH! NO MORE KIDS!!! i really do have a good baby and if i take a chance at having another one and it is fussy like that allllll the time, i'll go insane! i have no patience as it is i couldn't imagine having a baby act like that EVERY night! i'm exhausted today!

Soooo..... AJ had his 6 month check up today. He weighs 18 lbs 13 oz and is 28 in long! I talked to the Dr about his growth just to make sure he didn't think he was tooo fat. I don't want my kiddo to be unhealthy and obese! He said that AJ is normal. relief! but then i asked if i could get a prescription of Zantac for him (due to the picture above and he throws up more then normal to me) the dr said that since he is gaining weight appropriately that he shouldn't be on medicine for that. so now what do i do!? Honestly, I don't care what he says, the Zantac helps him!!! He really frusterates me!

On a happier note, Noah is doing better in daycare again! which is fantastic because we thought we were going to have to look for a new place for him again! He just has a strong personality and when he comes across another kiddo with a strong personality he wants to challenge them.

Noah has really been wanting to play and help me out with AJ which is fantastic! These boys are amazing! I really hope they both enjoy being kids! I wish I would've more!

AJ CAN SIT UP!!!! I came home from a work trip in vegas. and my little baby boy can sit up and went swimming for the first time! He's just growing up so stinkin fast! And I feel like I'm missing it all because I have to work!

Noah is learning how to swim and he loves it! He's doing so much better at his new daycare.I'm so proud of him!

(By the way... i don't know why the last paragraph came out so small and i'm kinda upset about it!!! nothing i do will fix it!!!)

A little boy came into the office today and was super rambunctious like Noah is. However, when his mom told him to stop and to sit down the little boy kept on running around and screaming. It made me so grateful that Noah listens and respects me. Sometimes I get very frustrated because I think that he doesn't hear me or care what I'm saying. But I know that he does and he is learning. I love that little boy so much and I love watching him grow up and change.

On Friday, we started having AJ sleep in his crib. He slept from 8-2. Saturday he fell asleep in his carseat so I didn't take him out. Sunday night he slept in his crib from 9-5 and last night he slept in his crib from 8-4. I am loving it but it kinda feels like I am more tired now then I was when I was waking up every 4 hours. He is also getting his two bottom front teeth in.

WE DID IT! We're married! it was a very stressful time but it was so worth it! I can't believe how nervous i was right before walking out! Jake was amazing though and as soon as I saw him I was fine again! His vows were so great. The food was awesome, the flowers turned out great and I don't have one complaint. I'm so happy that my mom was there to take care of my son because I was really all over the place! We had such a fun time with everyone that went. Thank you so much to all those who came and especially those who traveled to be with us. It means so much that you were there.

Well...... I have to say, I didn't realize how stressful the last week before a wedding can be! Everyone keeps asking me if I'm excited (I am excited to be Jake's wife) but more then anything I am stressed out and I can't wait until it is OVER!!! That probably sound horrible! I've decided though that I'm done stressing out about how many people might actually show up, about money, about people telling me I should do things a certain way when I really don't want to. I am going to enjoy the next few days because this is our time!

AJ had another great night of sleep. 7 1/2 hrs!!! I'm trying not to get my hopes up that this is permanent but I'm hoping for the best! I just need to get him sleeping in his crib in his room. He is still in his bassinet and I don't know if I'm ready to have him that far away from me at night.

Noah started his new daycare today and the lady who will be watching him also has a blended family and had some of the same issues that we are going through. The same type of situation with her children's mother and they also lived with grandma before she married their dad. Grandma's are supposed to baby their grandchildren but when they go from living with them and having somebody to stick up for them to Dad when they are in trouble, to living with a Mom and Dad who support each others decisions in diciplining them it is a hard transition for them to make. So, I really think it will be a positive change of environment for Noah and hopefully she can help us work with him to control his emotions. She did mention that her children had to go to family counseling which is not an option we are currently looking at for Noah but if it will help him in the long run we may. I don't think he fully understands why he is upset or sad sometimes and who can blame him? He is 4 for goodness sake. I just want him to have some stability in his life and I really think this will help.

I've been trying to think of a good way to update everyone of what is going on in our lives as we are trying to keep up with our growing boys. My sister-in-law showed me her blog and I realized what a great idea that is. So, thank you Jessica!

Update:

Noah is our 4 year old. He just recently started calling me "Mom". And honestly, I love it. He started doing Karate and with in 2 months he is already an orange belt! He is always willing to help with AJ and around the house and he is growing up so fast!

AJ (Arin Jaxon) will be 5 months on May 28th. I can't believe how fast time flies! He weighs 16lbs 3oz and is 26 inches long. He rolls from his tummy to his back easy. He tries to roll from his back to his tummy but seems to have a little harder time with that. When he is on his tummy he puts his face to the ground like he's trying to chew on it and uses his feet to stick his little butt in the air. He is sitting up in his bumbo chair which i love! He loves to laugh and talk to mommy and daddy. I've been feeding him cereal when I get home from work but it's not his favorite thing in the world. He is still spitting it out. Frustrating!
Also I really think AJ is trying to get some teeth in. He is drooling like crazy and chews on everything. Who knows though maybe it's just a phase.

Jake and I are trying to stay sane before the wedding which is less then 2 weeks away by the way! I am so nervous to leave my baby while we're on our honeymoon. I know he'll be in good hands but I'm a first time mom who is overprotective and that's just how it is.
